digi's

I'm looking for a digi camera that isn't to pricey and still takes a good photo. Right now i'm probably toping out @$400 CAD for the camera + whatever the memory costs (not really a factor). So that works out to just under $300 USD for a camera, what should I be looking for in this camera? Anyone have one they love? No what makes a good one great?

I'm looking for some real answers here, I too can surf the net and read reviews but i'm looking for more then that. I'm going to be getting this for Christmas and dont' really want to be buying another one 4 months down the road because I didnt know what i was buying.

So lets hear it.

Cheers big ears,

Rob

My family has a nice Olympus (over the price range though), and I like it a lot. Nice quality.

I'm thinking of getting this. It appears to have the most features of any camera under $400 Canadian and is 2.0mega pixels.

Isn't 2 megapixels a little weak these days? I know resolution isn't everything (we're already talking high res), but just curious.

Trev is right, 2.0 is really old and the clarity wont be as good..

You could get a 3.0 for around 300..
