Lamborghini Diablo SV with 150 Shot Dry Nitrous

10.98 @ 133 MPH.. not bad..

but running 150 shot DRY?! Plus on an ultra delicate Lambo engine.. I sense trouble.

dry is safe if you have proper fuel managment, i imagine the diablo has a sophisticated computer to manage the a/f, but on a 6.0 engine, remeber the amount of nitrous actualy getting to each cylinder, its not that high in a v12. hell... big block 350's can spray 150 like its nothing, and they are stock entry lvl high performance(i guess thats what its called) a diablo is a highly tuned and tested machine. and if you have the money..... why not?!

i like the nsx and the diablo, dont get me wrong, but a mid engine rear drive euopean twin turbo v8 with very very very good handling jsut does it for me. the nsx is underpowered for an exotic, and the diablo is overpriced

i know ya are, thats why i have to give ya shit! but seriously, the guy who let me drive his lotus said he trest drove a nsx, the lotus esprite TT SE, and a ferrari 428(i think thats the number, the early 90's one) on the track (he's an pro-amature SCCA driver as a hobby) and he said that the lotus just beat the other 2 hands down. i saw how that car screamed for mid-top end power, and well, since that day, its one of my fav exotics

The NSX is by far the most overrated car on the planet. 290hp 220tq for a remarkably low price of $80,000. AHAH, I don't think so.

and it does this out of a 3.2L v6 and no turbo. its 5s 0-60mph and 13.4 1/4mile @106mph. That seems very fast for only 290hp and 220tq.

They only go for $110,000 CAD so it must be cheaper up here because that works out to about $70,000 USD. What other car out there has a v6 motor under 3.5L that pulls those kinds of times and isn't turboed? I think its a great feat for a "small" engine to push that car to those speeds so quickly. Not to mention it looks fast just sitting still.

Granted this disagreement will all be over when they launch the car with a 5.0 v10 putting out somewhere around 500hp. Until then i still think this car is hot.

its not the power per lt thats disapointing, its the performance for the price. a corvette z06 is half that, and will hand that nsx its ass all over the place. ive herd the nsx is a blast to drive though. i have yet to drive one. maybe one day....

yeah they are fun to drive (i've driven 4 until now) but then again a viper is around the same price with the nsx and some vettes take care of it

i've been told though that the NSX out handles all of them on the track where the 1/4mile times are less important
