lol, we all hate cars..
If it isnt a loose wire.. When the subs arent working, is the amp getting power? its possible that there is short somewhere along the line, most likely at the amp itself.. short between speaker wires.. Or it may be your connectors on the box. It may also be your sub preout (on HU), but thats very unlikely).. Try to analyze every little part of your system,

check your remote wire on the amp, sounds like you lost power.. and you'd know if your subs were blown, they would still work but would sound like shit.. unless it came off the voicecoil ..
or maybe you fried your amp ![]()

Is it only your subs that dont work? Try and connect your sub to a battery and if it "pops" then the sub isnt blown.

well figured it out..... one of my subs has a loose wire or something.. it works if you push the sub in but when you let go the connection is lost... so now its replaced and i have bass again..... i wonder if i can cut up the fabric in the sub and solder the wire back on?!?!

azn, I had the same problem with my subs...the gold wire connected to the cone came off and was crossing with the other one, then they would move and come back on....
I just took some super glue and stuck that mugg back in....works great now ![]() -Bizzle |
