How in the hell do you get the clip back on the headlight with you replace it on a 96 Civic EX. Honda's are a pain to work on compared to Ford's, but I guess that's because you don't need to work on Honda's that often. If anyone can give me a heads up, I would appreciate it.

Which side headlight are you replacing? That one side the headlight is a PITA for me. The Resevoir should slide out and give you a little more room. But its still tight. I have a cold air intake on the other side so thats cake. Actually, civics, for the most part, are pretty easy to work on. There are a few things that are hard to get to but its not to bad. If you want a real pain, work on a GSX eclipse.

It is the right side with the resevoir, but I slid that out, now trying to get the lightbulb back in with the clip is a pain. I am going to try it again tonight. It isn't rocket science, just not real easy.

They are except replacing the damn lightbulb.

Yeah it usually takes some playing around to get it in. After you have done it once or twice its a little easier.

It's a 'hair pin' clip. Once you have the bulb lined up in the hole, all you have to do is squeeze the clip, slide it in place and release it.

The hardest part is getting your dern hand in there. Whenever I replace the bulbs, I slide the tanks out of their holders to get them out of the way. I NEVER could replace bulbs with the tanks in place. I physically cannot do it. My hands are too big.

As said above, once you do it a couple of times it's easy. I can replace my headlight bulbs in 2-3 minutes now...

ok new question..........how in the heck do you get the door panels off? especially how would i get the material off the doors?

unscrew the panels on the armrests on the doors, unscrew the door handles....pull the panel from the bottom towards you so it pops out.
then you'll see melted plastic tabs which hold the top of the door on (the vinyl part) and the armrest, use a dremel to cut into those so you can get the parts off and then you can pull the vinyl off and the material on the door armrest. its a serious pain in the ass, i know this from firsthand experience.
