Paint Job
Ok, I was wondering how much repainting my car would be...it dosnt have any rust or anything. I know nothing about paint.....does the cost differ between colors? What would the total with all the labor be. thanks

If you're talking about repainting your whole entire car, it depends on where you go. You can get a crappy paint job for around $500 or a like-factory one for $2000+. Of course, it also depends on what kind of paint you get (metallic or regular, for example) and what color it is. Personally I wouldn't paint the car a different color (I have friends who have done it and regretted it) unless you're willing to pay a lot. It'll never look as good.

Just look up your local Joint Vocational School. They usually have auto body classes. You pay for the supplies and they paint it. Its a good deal.

After putting on my body kit, I was told that since I was going to paint it the same color (black) that a place like Earl Schieb was good for that. I went ahead and had them do it and it came out great. They have a book with car factory colors. They looked up my car, the year, and the color (Granada Black I think it was) and matched it exactly. Hats off to them. Looks really sweet with no dings and scratches that I had b4. Also, WHEN YOU GET BIRD !@#$ ON YOUR CAR...WASH IT OFF ASAP. BEFORE I GOT MY PAINT JOB, I GOT MY CAR CRAPPED ON AND LEFT IT THERE FOR A FEW DAYS. WHEN I WASHED MY CAR IT TOTALLY !@&$*D UP THE PAINT WHERE THE CRAP WAS. A lesson learned. LoL, I thought I would mention that. But ya, summing it up. If you are going to have your car painted the same color over again, Earl S. gets 2 thumbs up!
