how about u put a civic bumper on a civic and leave the skyline bumpers on a skyline... gawd stop makin 'lines look cheap

if you really have to get an R33 series 2 bumper, coz out of all the skyline stock bumpers they look best. Although i dunno why you'd wanna get a stock 'line bumper, most of us put a TRUST, Border or Bomex bumper on anyway.

Use the money you spend fabricating a lookalike and spend it on somthing that'll help u keep up with a real skyline

btw the one in the pic is a pretty bad copy if its meant to be a GTR bumper, if you really had an FMIC behind the bumper like a real skyline you'd need two airvents to circulate the air above the center opening.

The civic with the r33 GTR 400R bumper on the other thread had a more closer matching bumper. This one looks like a bad copy.

thats what happens when you buy aerotrends, you get bad copies.

i think itd look good if you went all out and did say a widebody setup....otherwise, imo, it looks too bulky for stock civic lines.

hmm where's the FMIC? and is that fiberglass (goin by that crack u got on the bottom right)? coz an original R33 bumper is polyeurathane... which means it dosen't crack like that.

I dunno bout that bumper, something's very wrong with it... the indicator light pokes out a bit and the bumper overall dosen't fit the flow of the body of your car where it joins the front quarter panels and bonnet.

BTW what mods you got on the car? (I mean like mechanical mods, not gauges, neons n bodykits)

an original R33 bumper wouldnt be made to fit a civic, soooo ok.
but judging by the fit for that corner light, doesnt seem that even the one made for the civic, fits the civic.

well the bumper on my ride is for a coupe so that's why it does have that slight gap on the side that you see. well you have so many companies that make that front bumper so you can find it in Poly or fiberglass....

And unless you do an entire front end conversion that would be the only way you could fit a "true" skyline R-33 front end on there..

as for mods I have a shit load of them.
if you want to see then just go to the team meguiars V-carshow and I have them all listed there username whitehonda93
