Replaced Brake Pads and its STILL SQUEAKING !
I am having brake pad problems on my 94 honda accord EX. I am currently using Raybestos brake pads all around and i just changed the brake pads 100 miles ago and it just started squeeking again... Are these brake pads bad, should i just go back to the stock brake pads ?? WHat can i do to get rid of the noise

Did you give them time to break in? They need a little bit of time before you should stomp on them.

if you put that lining that goes on the back of the pad wrong and the pad will not step right on the disk it will never stop. make sure the pads are straight, or your car will sound like a bus when braking.

It may also be that the pads are part of a somewhat faulty batch..
Too much of the metal stuff in there..

you have to apply it on the back of the pads (facing the caliper). it will prevent vibration on the pads and so the squeeling..
i think if you go to autozone it's called Permatex Anti Squeal or something.. you should always do this when you replace your pads... goodluck |
