No, I don't pay for my own insurance. It works out that way on its own though..my parents pay for my brother's car/insurance etc so they feel like they should for me too. It's not so bad, I'm not as spoiled as I seem to be. How many 19 year olds do you know that send money to their families overseas?

And Steven, I'm not sure. For girls, 16 is adulthood in common sense theories but I'm not sure what the legal age is. I don't think I've ever been around anyone underage that drinks in public. I think it's more of a save-face thing though.
