whats the diff. between saturated injectors and peak & hold injectors

I'm pretty sure saturated open to variing degress where as peak/hold injectors open to their full capacity and hold there until it's dumped in fuel...
In turn the peak hold injectors simple require a trigger voltage (squarewave) and the saturated injectors open to different degrees depending on the voltage supplied. I'm pretty sure that's correct... but search how stuff works to be sure.. .I'm sure they have those in there.
