Greddy kit not 4 96+ civics

I called Greddy and talked to them why i cant put there kit on my 2k civic. they said yes the kit will fit but the FMU ( "blue or black box") is made for the 92 - 95 civic. They said they will b coming out with one this year to meet the upgrade requirements for the 96+ civics. I also asked them what i needed to run 10 psi with there kit. They said upgrading fuel and spark... then he also said i needed new rods cause they go out easy. I just want to boost enough but not so much that i have to change out the internals and have to start protecting the block.

Hey maxpsi, is your car a 2001 LX like it states beneath your username? If so, the Greddy kit will not fit your car. If you have another Civic, say a 92-2000 model, the Greddy kit will fit it.
Yeah, they told me that they were coming out with a kit for the later models just like they told you except they told me that in January 2001. Well, a year has gone buy and what do you know, nothing has happened. Their kit requires only changing the FCU wiring to make it work for the 96-00 Civics. The kit bolts right up.
