Uh...thx for the help first guys. But how often do these things break? Do they break at all? The previous owner (which is a dumass) has been using cut springs on the stock shocks for like at least 7 years (the car is a 93) and surprisingly the suspension system has not been shot...close to it though.

I'm working up a deal with a local shop for a set of Tokico HP series shocks/springs for 400$ even, isn't that a good deal? I've shopped around the last week or so and Tokico shocks itself is 300$. I will rarely race with the civic, its basically a daily driver with minor modifications, so I think the Tokico setup is good. Don't you guys think so?
