Valve Cover Gasket.

As most of you know, i am worthless when it comes to fixing things, so here goes . . .

Ok, i have to repalce my valve cover gasket - do i have to get the valve cover gasket from a 94 Del Sol Vtec or will any DOHC VTEC Bseries one fit?

How can i tell what side is the "passenger side" so i dont put the thing in backwards [again?]. Also, got any tips for screwing the Valve Cover down again (so the washers are even?).

- thanks in advance.

del sol vtec or 99 si will be fine...doesnt matter
Honda part # - 08718-0001 or 08718-0003
(thats what helms says is the part #)

Just torque the bolts down to the right amount of ft/lbs and you'll be fine. - 7.2ft/lbs
The order (when looking at the cover from the front of the car is:
7----------9
---3----1---
---4----2---
8----------6

I believe the gasket should have tabs on one side (outside end) that go on the passenger side of the bay....but I really dont remember too well from the last time I saw one

(be sure to wait 30mins before putting oil in or the liquid gasket will not set right)
