NEW Custom shift boot + titanium nismo shift knob

Finally put these in the other night. I LOVE the knob, makes shifting feel easier and shorter. Also, before my gearbox felt notchy, now each gear slides in smoothly with ease! The shift boot is nice too, genuine classic soft trim leather to match my seats. The only bad thing was that I had to punch the holes in the new boot, but that didn't take too long. Anyway... onto the good part... the pics

ps- would a mod please host these pics and change my post to reflect the new image URL... thanks. -- done... -94

Like the knob, dislike the boot. Although it does match.

The knob looks ok...but the boot looks strange. I'm personally a fan of monochromatic interiors. It always bothers me when I see an interior with colors that have so much contrast. But hey...your car is about your tastes and that's cool. It's just not my style.

The knob is truly awesome, I don't see how anyone could dislike it. Oh well, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm torn on the boot. When I see it in the pictures I don't really like it, but when I get in the car I LOVE the boot. It is weird. And I can still get 4 fingers on the knob, and the thumb on top... its like shifting with a joystick!!! I'm torn on keeping the boot or getting a black one with red stitching for a bit more subtle accent... but then again thats ANOTHER $30 that could go towards something else big in the works...

I'd switch for a black boot with red stitching in a heartbeat. It would give a much cleaner look to the interior.

^^^ agreed.

I like shift knobs that you can actually "throw" when racing, or just driving in general.
