Just got promoted....
Well, I'm in the Army Reserve, and I just got back from drill. Just as I was leaving I got promoted to Private First Class (E-3) by the commander.
Anyway, just wanted to say that.  Can anyone explain powder-coating the engine/valve cover? something like that? - Dzur |

congrats on the promotion!
as for powdercoating, i've heard its rather pricey. I'm more inclined to give engine enamel a try. 4 dollar can of it, and if it doesnt work, any one of a million chemicals to remove it. worth a shot. |

Not expensive at all either. If you want it too look good powder it or paint it with pro equipment. If you want it to look like crap rattle can it. |

oh i wasnt discounting powdercoating at all, i was just suggesting a cheap alternative...its the cheapskate in me. As for my ignorance of price, well thats what happens when you beleive second hand info. my bad.
maybe i'll consider powdercoating now... |

I've been in a little over one year now. Went to boot camp at Ft. Knox and AIT at Ft. Gordon. I've never heard of powder coating. I'll start a new thread on it I guess. - Dzur  |

Congrats on the promotion bro. Powdercoating is a lot more durable than paint is but is a lil more pricey.
