![]() I can't seem to find a reliable source to find my horsepower rating on my car. i have the d16z6 motor in my 95 civic ex (1.6 L SOHC V-tec) everyone i talk to and everywhere i go seems to be telling me something different. The engine is completely stock although the car is not, so what is the factory horsepower? I think it is around 125 horses, but does anyone know of a website to back anything up????? iv had little luck. thanks

those are in bhp, so its talking about hp at the crank. you'd have to physically dyno your car to see what you are actually pulling at the wheels. if you've got nothing done to it then i'd expect a 15-25 difference, maybe. it'd be a good benchmark, if your planning on modification. a before and after

stock d16z6's put down just about 106 whp when they are new. tq is around 95. this is coming off 125 flywheel horse and 106 tq. max power at 6600rpm, rev limit at 7500rpm ......so with say cold air intake, header, catback- z6's usually see 115-120whp
