Does anyone have a civic or any other kind of car with 5% (limo) tint?I would like to see what it looks like before i get it done.And if you have it with no pic,how do you like it?Thanks for any help

just get a pic of a limo, and then think about how it looks on your ride...or edit a pic of your car w/ paint/photoshop

yeah but this is one of those things that you can get busted for just sittin in a parking lot....

i suggest regular tint that is legal to your area, be it 25, 30, whatever...no need to grab more attention then youre already getting as a "Street racer"...even if you arent

I had 5% on my wifes old eclpise and it was hard as hell to see at night. My 15% is kinda a pain sometimes when it is really dark out.

5% is too hard to see out of. When I had it on my Legend I had to guess if things were behind me or I'd have to make out shapes of objects. On my teg I had 15% and 50% on the windshield and it was dark enough for me.

Legal tint here is 35% and i already had that on one of my cars and that wasnt dark enough for me.And the cops around here dont mess with you for tinted windows.

Im not calling you a lier or anything but my 20% on my truck is darker then your 15%.It most depend on what kind of flim is used.The place im having it dont at doesnt do 10% for some odd reason.And i already know 15% wouldnt be dark because of my int. color being a light gray.

And yes i do understand that it will be hard to see out of at night.And even harder if there are no ;ights around me.I have already thought of these things.

no theyre not gonna pull you for tint, but its one of those things that you get added on to something else
then there are the asshole cops that will pull you over just because youre an import and yell at you for your factory 00 tails (with proper colored amber bulbs for the white portion) and your tiny little decal in the rear 1/4 window that says HondaStyle.com (which is gone now.......)
whoops sorry...tangent from past experience there....my bad

anyway just because it looks cool doesnt mean its a good idea. Hell I have no tint on my windows and I think its just hunky-dory (or however its spelled)...but hey your ride, your concequences (I say that a lot around here dont I)

My friend had 5% tint when I was stationed in Japan. Backing up is hard as hell at night. He also had to cut cirles around the area where you would see your side mirrors to make sure he could see so he doesn't hit anything. It's a pain and hastle. But, I must admit. It looked very good.

they're supposed to be amber? oops... i changed mine to white...

Ok, i am going to do 5% on the back 3 windows and 15% on the 2 front ones.I've heard from alot of people that its hard to see out of the windows with 5% and id be better off geting a lighter tint on my 2 front so i can see out of them better.

Good choice. I have 15% rear and 30% front and thats fine. Yours should look good!
