Jerks!!

I had my car parked in this parking lot as i went in a store to buy a card for my friend's birthday today. My keychain for my alarm was doing the first stage alarm (when the car is barely touched), but then the full hardcore alarm started going off. So i left the store as fast as i could and ran to my car. It looked and seemed fine and nothing appeared damaged. So i was happy. But then about 3 hours later when i went to pick up a friend, I went to adjust my sideview mirror with my hand and the f*ckin thing is messed up. It folds ALL the way forwards now and the glass part of the mirror will only stay at a down position facing the ground. Somebody either hit my mirror with a vehicle or punched it. There is no signs of a vehicle doing it so I think it was some jerk being a jerk and stuff...GRRR

Seems like a lot of bad Karma going around on these boards. I would try to go back and talk to the manager of the store, let them know that your car was vandalized in THEIR parking lot and try to get a copy of the tape of the parking lot (if they have one).

ya, i'd like to get a video tape. BUUT, our town is very small and there are NO survellance cameras in ANY parking lots (except for car dealerships) and i parked in a grocery store parking lot because the store i was actually in, had no more parking spaces left...grrr..
i was just outside trying to fix my mirror. So far, i THINK i MIGHT be able to get it back together properlly, but i'm not too sure if all the internal crap behind the mirror is ok. It's a really tough thing to work on! I have all day tomorrow to fool around with it tho. Wish me luck. I don't want to have to buy a new mirror. They probably aren't cheap!

Maybe someone got annoyed at the fact that the car alarm thinks it owns a 100 foot bubble around it, and goes off when people get near it...

Sorry about the whole mirror incident man. But hey, at least nothing tried to eat your car like they did mine. I have to replace the front bumper and both fenders. By the way, what kind of alarm do you have on your car?

Seems it did you alot of good. I did have an alarm, but ended up cutting it out. I would work on my car (at night) and everytime I would rehook the battery, that thing would go off right in my ear.
