what the hell is up with this?

Ok, all of a sudden my car is being gay. The cabin light doesn't work now. The door chime doesn't work. And when I go to use the wiper squirter, it squirts but the wipers don't move. And intermittent wiper mode does not work. It is night time now so i will look at it tomorrow but its weird that these 3 things just started to happen!! AND my car alarm is acting weird. the keychain says my doors are open. I think that' sa fuse....hmm

Mine too!! Yesterday morning to work and on my lunch break my car was all fine and dandy. Then at 5:00 when I left work to go home it wouldn't start, and it wouldn't start. I would try and then give it a moment and then try again. After about the 5th try it finally started, but it didn't sound right and the whole way home it sounded funny and when I had to come to a stop and then start moving again it would hesitate and didn't have as much power as it usually does. The "service engine" light came on as well. I know I'm a little over my 60,000 mile service....by about 9,000 , but I kept putting it off and putting it off and then I was waiting till I got some $$ together and now my car is getting me back by acting retarded. So now I have to get it towed to the dealership tomorrow to get it fixed.

It is really not my year.....just early this year my drivers side window was busted in and I had to get that replaced and then just a few weeks ago my drivers side door handle fell off.....just like that and I had to get that fixed. Ahhhhh! My car is falling apart on me.....and it's only a '99!

Starting to think twice about having got a Mitsubishi.

haha that sounds funny... anyways, try the fuses, thats the most likely problem. If its not fuses, good luck with the wiring...

Its a fuse. When I got my car, the cabin light, the chime for when you leave your lights on, and something else didn't work. It was all connected to the same fuse
