				D16Z6 Turbo
Ok I've been searching and my eyes hurt so here it goes, I'm looking at a '94 Del Sol Si (D16Z6) and I want to run 12.5-13.0 on it. What's the turbo kit to go with? Where are reviews? I want to do it on stock internals too. |

				 | heh i doubt that you could run with a turbo on stock internals those times. i think you need to boost at least 15psi to get to those times and a civic engine will take up to 8-9 on stock internals

				 | I have a D16Z6 turbo running 12psi with far from stock internals. I tried running it on stock internals and it lasted about 3 months before the pistons fell apart, the rings toasted and the head gasket went south. I am now running the following.. Arias forged pistons Total seal rings ARP head studs Greddy 2mm head gasket RC injectors BBK Fuel pump aem fuel rail jackson racing rising rate fuel pressure regulator custom short runner intake manifold ApexI VAFC Greddy intercooler, yeah the big one APEXi blow off valve excedy stage II clutch with lightened flywheel big bore throttle body greddy turbo timer aem high flow fuel filter there is more but I can't quite remember right now. There are also a few of my own personal touches. It has also been tuned on a dyno. 247hp best et.. 12.7 @ 107

				 | No you don't, high power equals high maintenance. I'm having some serious timing and vacuum issues right now. Car barely does 60mph. I'm replacing the coil today and all the vacuum lines. Also I think my coolant temp sensor is causing the car to run way too rich. Hopefully she will be back on the road in full force tonight.
