![]() Hi, folks!
![]() My nickname is Leo71 and I am a proud owner of a 1994 Honda Accord stationwagon. ![]() It currently has a 16Valve engine but I need a bit of 'spunk'!. I was thinking of changing it to an accord-vtec engine from a later Accord model or form a Prelude. Is there a better method than that? Does various weight of the engines change the overall performance of the car? What precautions should I take if I am going to go head with it? Your suggestions will be appreciated. ![]() |

First, welcome to HS
![]() An H22A (prelude engine) is really the only swap worth doing, performance/$$$ ratio. Sounds like you'd want someone else to install it, so find a good shop to do the work for you. Also, make sure you get the engine from a reputable place with a startup warranty, etc.
