Need some input about pressing charges against someone

ok well like 2 months ago my car got egged and i didnt make it in time to get it washed off but after i did it ate right through my paint job... well tonight i finally have 2 sources that confirm this girl and her b/f did it.. they was bragging about it to people and one happened to be a friend of mine. and one girl was with them the night they did it and she was the one who told my friend. so do u think i could report it and might it be too late???? cause i got enough to convict her and her b/f so wat should i do???

its never too late if you have the info...call the police and they can file a report, and then tell you what you need to do next

If you wanted to try, confront them and ask them if they want to pay to get the paint fixxed. If not, file a report and press charges. That's just a total lack of respect.

What, are these people 10 years old? I'd be kicking someone's ass after all was said and done with the police. Yeah, yeah...I know that's not mature either but you just DON'T F*CK with my car. You have a problem with me, take it up with my to my face. Don't be a puss and throw something at my car when I can't see you. Man, I am sorry to hear that. That sucks. I really hope it all works out for you.

If you have comprehensive, file an insurance claim against the vandalism. They'll ask you to file a police report - there you put down who you think did it and why.

Then you get the money to get repainted, the police dept will do their job, and your ins company's lawyers will scare the sh!te out of the people that did it to try to get their money back.

I just went through a similar thing - the insurance company did all the work, pressed charges, sued the vandals and fleeced them for about 2x the damages. Revenge is nice.

It wouldn't be about the money with me, i'd start cracking jaws.

But if you want to file, go for it

It should be about the money for them....you hit them where it hurts. My guess is they're not loaded and will feel quite a pinch from it.

Cracking jaws may sound like a grand idea, but that's a good way to get charges filed against you, have more damage done to your car, and still look like the "bad guy" in the whole deal.

There's nothing more chicken sh*t than f*cking with a man's automobile.

All are good ideas...1st contact your insurance company, get statements from witnesses, file a police report, then wait to get paid.....

Once everything is said and done, buy a hideous looking mask, or just a regular ski mask will do, find these dumbass cornballs and put the FEAR OF GOD in'um..."Wup they ass!!!"
