I dont know what model this SOL is.... I forgot to ask if he had an engine swap because he can redline the car at 8. Any ideas or what it is?

What year is it?
Is it 94+ then it would be a Del Sol VTEC. The del sol Si redlines at 7200. It's probably the VTEC sol. with the b16a3.

If it has indiglo's it might be harder to tell, because I have an SI that redlines at 7200 stock but I got the VTEC indiglo's just for the 8000 redline...hehe. Good thing they line up.

OKAY FIRST QUSTION SHOULD BE DOES IT REDLINE ON THE TACH AT 8 OR DOSE THE CAR JUST GO PASSED 8 IF IT RED LINE IS AT 8 THEN IT WAS BUILT TO DO IT HOWEVER THE GUY YOUR BUYING IT FROM COULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT A 20$ CHIP THAT ALLOWS THE CAR TO RED LINE AT 8.

Were guessing that the tach is at 8 which means its a b16a3.
Simple as that.
