shop directory?

say you're going on vacation, you're in BFE, and you break something. the local mechanic has never even seen under the hood of a honda, let alone one with 10000 dollars in mods. where do you go to get your car taken care of? wouldn't it be great if there was an online directory of just about every shop in the country, so no matter where you go, you'll never be far from gobs of go-fast parts and the people that know how to use them. i'm going to start the directory, but i need people to reply and let me know where the shops are. names, phone numbers, websites, anything to help people find it. thanks. i'll have a url for the listing up soon. of course, if you already know of a listing like this, let me know.

wtf is "bfe"

and no mechanic has never seen under the hood of a honda...

if you have 10k of work done to your car you had BETTER NOT get anything done to it other than by the people who did it origonally.

Or you risk getting the big... sorry man.

*edit*Do you take your car on vacation... especially one with 10k into it?*/edit*

that's not my point, but whatever. there's plenty of reasons why you might want to find a shop somewhere besides your home town. say you're driving a turbo 2g dsm and your t25 finally blows up. why have the nearest mits or chrysler dealer put on a new t25 when a shop could put on a 16g for the same price. or what if you have to move for whatever reason. right now, i'm going to school 300 miles from the shop i used to go to. it would have been nice if i'd found the shop here a lot sooner than i did. in a few months, i might be moving 450 miles farther from my shop for a grand total of 750. i have no idea how to find a shop there right away. Sol, what would you do if a nice chunk of retread took out one of your hid's. you can't run around without a headlight for long, and you can't exactly get a replacement from the honda parts counter.
