need help not sure with something!!!!

Hi, im not sure what is the max offset i can put on a 1998 honda civic 4 door.. im looking at 17inch rims and i need to tuck them in the front and back.. o yea the tire size will be 205/40/17's..... any feedback would be great.. thanks!
