New plugs/Wires

The weather was so nice I decided to finally do some car maintenance this weekend. I replaced my sparkplugs, sparkplug wires and windshield washer pump. I took out the bosch+4 plugs and used regular NGK's that I got for $1.89 a piece. I bought some aftermarket sparkplug wires from O'Reily's for $35. The new plugs and wires are awesome, I instantly noticed better performance with the new wires, My engine is a lot less noisier-I guess because it doesn't backfire now and all my cylinders are firing smoother that is probably why. The windshield fluid pump was so easy to replace it only took 1 minute to pop off the old one and plug in the new. Has anyone installed an ignition system theirself? I am thinking about doing this next with a new distributor. Hondamaniac-I see that you've got and msd ignition, did you do it yourself was it a hard install?

Here is an old/new plug:

Those new wires

I've been looking for new wires in black but all the aftermarket ones are grey or blue. Do they make black ones plug wires?

Does it matter if you torque your plugs in, or just put them in gently, not over-tightning?

I heard that if you tighten them to much you could screw up the head. I told this old guy who I work with that I just replaced my plugs and he said to be extremely careful when tightening only fingertighten them because you might messup your head since hondas have weak aluminum heads.
