I was listening to some talk radio that had scientists on it talking about this.

They say that it is impossible for us to have ever landed on the moon because of the radiation belt that they would have had to pass through to actually get there. It would have melted the ship like cheese. Why do you think the Russians have never "made" it to the moon. It has something to do with the van Alen (sp?) belt or something like that.

Thats what Ive heard anyway.
