Muffler?

Ok so while i was doing the oil change the otherday i noticed something......my exhaust inst stock....nor is it stock size.......it's mandrel bent and all that stuff.....but the muffler is stock.....but the piping is larger than the regular stock pipe cause the stock muffler has a smaller extension sticking out the back that tapers into large so that it fits on the larger replaced piping.........

so i'm thinkin of just buying a muffler........

i want a deep sound....as deep as possible.....no loud fart can noise........i herd one today but the girl who drives the car bought it that way and there isnt a logo or anything on it......but it's not APC it looks well made.........

so any suggestions?

not really an issue...i just think $250 for a muffler is outrageous.....specially when i know i can find one that sounds just as good for a better price.....

I had an Edelbrock RPM - nice and low, definitely not angry-beehive sounding like most import aftermarkets.
Couple hundred new, but maybe if you're lucky you can find one that's used (check your PM!).

Flowmaster or magnaflow will give you the deepest note... any straight through (fart can) muffler will be more raspy..

flowmaster shouldn't be more than 50-100 bucks...

YES spending 250 on a muffler is NUTS... and pointless other than style.
