remote turn on lead

me and my friends were installing an amp but couldn't find a wire to attach the remote wire to can anybody give me a few suggestions i have a 2002 honda civic LX thanx

well i really don't know about the stock ones but the aftermarket head units have a blue wire for the remote turn on lead

Usually you can just use the power antenna wire (orange?). But some HU's have a specific remote wire, usually blue.

if you really cant figure it out, you could just wire in a standard spst switch somewhere close to your hu and just flip it on whenever you start your car. wire it to cig lighter maybe (12v is what rem turn ons need right? check that first)
