VCD Help

I know about VCDhelp.com, but I think some of thier info is quite vague...Does anyone have any experience in creating VCD's?

I have a bunch of screeners on my HD and I would like to put them in VCD to be able to watch them via DVD player, so I don't have to hook up my tower to my TV each time I want to watch a movie.

Most of my movie files are over 800MB, is there a program out there that could help me split them into 2 files, or is there a way I can compress the files so that they would fit on one VCD?

or shall Iust wait till the movies come out on DVD and buy them, in order to follow copyright laws?

TMPGEnc will do everything you need VCD related. Then just slap them on a CD with Nero. Honestly though, you can't beat a real DVD in terms of quality, so I'd go that route.
