Got my new exhaust
I got my new dual exhaust yesterday. I'm installing it today. I hope it sounds good, and I'll get you all pics later. It's made by Bosal. My magnaflow bolt on system is for sale in the misc. classified section.

You might want to go to Wal-Mart and get some high temp paint and spray the words, "I'm a moron" on the dual tip.
Do they not have performance shops in Georgia? |

Why can't people just respect what others do. If you don't like what I do, then so be it. If you can't say anything nice..then don't say anything at all. It's my car, and I'll do what I want with it. You don't drive it, so be respectful of what I do to it. You might do something with yours that I wouldn't do, but I respect your decision to do it because you like it. So in short....keep your opinions to yourself next time. |

Do they have performance shops in Georgia? What kind of question is that? Nopi Nationals are held here in Atlanta for crying out loud. Do your homework son, and don't be such an ass next time and get called out again! |

Aaaah.. i can still see that n00bs take a little joke.
If you would like me to personally send you a sense of humor and some feelings left over on my shoulder i can. Just send me an email address. Asshole? Me?....prolly, but more of just a smartass. Actually i respect all of what people do their rides. It was more of a joke than anything else. BTW, dual exhaust does nothing for performance. IF they did like a Y pipe then it's extra noise. It does nothing except get rid of all back pressure. |

Nopi natoinals are a ricefest and i wouldnt call Nopi a performance shop. The largest APC reseller, yes.
Dont let a little joke go to your head. Besides in TX we have to ride cows to the dynos. |

I haven't been on this forum in a long time..and I know that duals drop the backpressure....and a little joke is fine, IF I know that it's a little joke, not when I'm called a moron. I do have a sense of humor, and I'm a smart ass myself, but I don't call people morons that don't know me, cause that will cause them to take offense. No hard feelings though, and I understand now, but you have to watch what you say to people. |

Your right about that. I've been working on these cars for quite sometime now..about four years I think. I'm honestly not trying to draw all sorts of power out of my D16. If I wanted power, I would more than likely do a swap instead of turbo...then maybe turbo the swap. I couldn't save enough money to do that though...maybe the lottery will be good to me...or Santa! |

No prob man! Just a joke. drdingo21, you need a valium? No one was talking to you. BTW, getting the most out of a d-series is hard. My first project back in 97 was a turboed 95EX. I spent a lot of money back then to not go that fast. However im kind of upset that the sunroofs arent like they used to be. Good luck with your project and all, but remember something..... You can only go as fast as money permits. |

Hey guys...this is my thread..if anyone is gonna argue here, it's gonna be me!! ROFLMAO Seriously though...it's all good fellas, and this doesn't have to go any further than it should.
By the way...the exhaust worked out perfectly. It sounds SOOOOOOOOO good too. It's a lot louder than my other exhaust was, but it has a great deep tone. It doesn't sound ricey, or like "Hey, my car has a cold" sound, it is as deep as deep gets. Best sounding exhaust I've heard in a long time. I have to take some pics tomorrow, cause the sun is down, but I'll get them up as soon as possible. |

I can't get the pics until tomorrow...but I don't feel a loss in anything....and to be honest my car accelerates a little better at higher speeds. As far as lower speeds, I don't feel any loss or gain, but I will tell you that this is the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard, and I've been in this import scene for many years now. |

I've been trying to get some pics for you guys and gals, but it's raining like smack outside, and the car is dirty anyways, and I can't let all of you see my baby without a bath. I'll try later today if it clears up, or tomorrow if it's any better. To be honest, I don't know how to post pics up in the forum, so can I send them to one of you and let you post them for me?

whoever said that you loose back pressure with dual tips is an idiot.
the tips have about as much to do with back pressure as your tires do.

Dual tips are one thing, but I actually have two mufflers now. I don't really think that stuff like that causes a loss though, cause I don't feel a loss. It's been raining here lately for the past few days, but I'll get some pics whenever I can. |

You have two mufflers??? I'd definatly like to see pics
which exhaust is this on which model car. even then you'll only loose exit velocity not back pressure. the back pressure is created way higher up in the exhaust system. in the header or cat. if you have an aftermarket header and cat then it might start to cause some loss of backpressure but I can't imagine it being enough of a loss to cause problems.
