why you say that? I understand if you don't like them or prefer the way it looks now but you could of at least put a constructive or helpful reply rather then just your opinion.

but if you ask a question on a public forum....i have every right to put my opinion - i didnt flame you for wanting them. i simply said i hope they never make them - if you are talking about the 02+ hatch. if you are talking about the coupe/sedan - they are already floating around out there.

That pic is a Type R, the SE that I have is the same except without the bodykit (bumpers, sideskirt, larger rear spoiler) it doesn't have those bumper lights. its called SE just because of the different accesories spec like air con, e/sunroof (yes, as well as air con!) colour coded wing mirrors.
The UK new Civic 3 door range is 1.4i S 1.6i VTEC S 1.6i VTEC SE 1.6i VTEC SE Sport Type R |

uhhh, 1.6???
the 2k2+ is equipped with a 2.0 unless you guys even get low model hatches but even then id think itd be a 1.7, not a 1.6, considering 2k1 started the civics getting 1.7L engines. but hell, you have a 1.4L model as well? you europeans confuse the hell out of me. all we have here in the states for 2k2 hatchbacks is the Si model with an iVTEC K20A engine - doesnt have the CTR exterior either. |

yeah the Type R has the 2 litre, and the bodykit, all the rest are 1.6 or 1.4, thats what it says in the brochure. guess they're trying to make us europeans stay economic with the fuel and emissions, bastards!

WTF!!! WE DIDN'T get the SI until 03' why the heck did they give it to Europe first !!! What really Burst my bubble is that HONDA kept the 200 hp Civic in Japan... Gave us the CRAAPPY 160hp civics, cuase the new BLAH RSX has the 200hp engine. What they really need to do is rock the 200hp engine into the Coupe.. sorry recon.. i'm not a big hatch fan..
Anyway .. that's my random rant.

dunno why they done that, could be hatch backs are more popular over here, not sure really, but you got the RSX! if i had the choice between that or the civic Type R it would be very close but the RSX would get it, it looks so kool!
