1991 Accord

I found this accord it is a 91 se that is in pretty good shape but has hi miles and was wondering what u guys thought i think that i can get it for like 1500 what yall think thanks

Well, first of all, welcome to HS

I think we'll need a little more info. Exactly how many miles? What condition is the body in? Are you willing to swap in a new engine?

It has 195000 and evenutally i would be willing to do an engine swap but i would just like to do bolt on right know cuz this car was mantaind great he has records to every thing so and it is the SE thanks

well first of all look for worn balljoints and busted up motormounts (A/T only) other than that you should get the car.

I think that with 195k on the clock, you need to be aware that the engine has the potential to need replacement sometime in the near future. Other than that, inspect the obvious stuff (or take it somewhere to have it inspected) and you should be ok. Also, look up the blue book value (www.kbb.com) on it.

i think he said something about an engine swap. they are great cars and like to run forever, just take care of them.

i think 1500 is too much for a 91 with almost 200k miles...i would try to get near a grand maybe lower....just my thought...peace

I have a 91 accord and I love it! 4th gen accords just have that appeal to me. And BTW, I don't think 1500 is that much, I paid 2500 for mine but it did had lower miles, around 121, 000.

well i did find this other one that has 119 on it and its an ex with the spolier and the guy is only asking 2000 so i bet i can get it around 1500 so i think that one is a better deal

NAW.....The SE is way better than the ex.....the ex will not have leather and it won't be as good of a color.....Are you lookin at a silver or green se?
