Car lagging in power...
Ok my car is running pretty good, (besides in need of brake pads) but when i do around 100-120km/hour on the highway, everynow and again it will bog down and sort of stutter around that speed range. But a couple seconds later when i'm out of that speed range, it runs fine again. I THINK i need some fuel injector cleaner but i'm not too sure. Any suggestions?

id check your fuel injectors, throttle body and spark plugs... just the basics...

I'd just run some injecto cleaner through it...
chevron techron is the best no question.

step one: open a beer
step two: look aimlessly around under your hood until you think you know which bolts you need to remove step three: take off the bolts- only remove one piece at a time so you can keep track of it easier step four: clean with a rag step five: put it all back together step six: open another beer have fun

I would't even bother... but If you want you just disconect the intake pipe and clean the exposed part and both sides of the throttle plate... use SPARING amounts of tb or carb cleaner... and use a tooth brush or rag on a stick to clean them... it probobly won't do anything as the intake air is pretty clean on honda's... some cars have the pcv going into the intake tube so it sucks oil fumed air sometimes... honda's usually blow the pcv air directly into the intake manifold.

I think the "H" on the hood has a little to do with the lack of power Just playin

Oh and don't clean spark plugs... inspect them and if they're dirty with either white or black crap... replace them.

what rpm range is that speed in? Could be a timing problem. Check the fuel filter too.

check the emissions sensors. the car may be flooding or leaning itself out in just the right conditions.

Also just fyi thats a pretty weak spot in most cars... especially in an overdrive gear... NO torque...
my car SOUNDS like it's pinging whenever I hit that rpm range in any gear... but it's the alternator belt... the engine runs VERY rough around the rpm... smooths out a little once it has momentum on it's side though...

k, i'll have to find my spark plug gap thingy adn check the plugs today...where do i find the gap rating for the plugs? its written on the p[lugs themselve's isnt' it?
