Help me choose a new head unit......
Alright guys/gals. I can't EVER make a decision. So I'm relying on all my HS peeps to help me out.
First, I don't need a new head unit but I want one. I'm tired of my Pioneer DEH-P900R (so if someone wants to buy e-mail me ). That and I want satellite radio. The music here sucks. End of story. I've also discoverd a newt little tool that I can use to view my cars vital stats in real time. Yeah fast & furious blah blah blah.... I'm also working on building an in car computer system (since I'm a computer nerd). Anyhow.... Choices Pioneer AVH-P6400CD - LINK I like the idea of having a RCA video input. I can get this for about $850 new. Doesn't play DVDs though. Pioneer AVX-P7300DVD - LINK Plays DVDs. I don't know that it has an RCA input though. A bit pricey. This I can get for $1400 or so. Both have XM radio capabilities. I don't want Sirius. There's always an option of connecting my XBOX to this. Anyone know if there's an A/V switch for these? So I could toggle between sources. Also any ideas on whether or not you have to have the parking brake enabled to watch movies/view video input? If you all have any other suggestions let me know. I don't need theather surround, but I'd like XM radio features & video inputs.
