There is no use in picking one car... So I will pick one car for each catagory:
Everyday Driver: E46 M3 in Leguna Seca Blue Show car: RHD del Sol Track car: Comptech Powered '02 NSX Tow vehicle: Ford F350 Superduty, lowered Collector's car: '02 Chevy SS Camero converible. That is 5 different cars for 5 very different purposes. -Ducky

Man...you guys are really low balling it here. Think about it...unlimited funds. I'd buy an old Shelby Daytona Cobra. There's only 4 left and they're worth over 1 million each.
That said, you can't pick just one car. It's like asking someone what their favorite movie is. If you can say on is definitively your favorite then you haven't seen enough movies. So, for the sake of arguement, here's the honorable mentions: New '04 Ford GT (the GT40 concept that hits the road next year) TVR Speed 12 '67 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 '68 Shelby GT500 KR '70 Mustang Boss 429 Nissan Skyline GTR Jaguar XJ220 Barracuda w/ a 426 Hemi Buick GNX Billy Glidden's Pro 5.0 car

Yea, I saw a Jag go for $1,005,000 on the Berrett Jackson Classic Car Auction. Anyways, for my cars, I told you what I would want and why (track, show, etc.). What may be one man's trash (I am sure that you don't approve of my Camero) could be another one's treasure (they stopped making them in '02, may only be worth $36k now, but in the future... it could be that million dollar car).

well...if I had that much money...I'd move to Cali and buy a Denali (no not an escalade) and pimp the shit outta it...including those rims that keep spinning after you stop *Bling Bling* in Doulbe Deuses, full peanut better leather interior w/ dark cherry wood accents, full Nakamichi sound system w/ several lcd screens for movies and gaming and GPS, and that bad ass radar detecor that goes in the bumper
and i'd keep the GMC emblem on the billet grille |

Actually, million dollar cars are exclusively cars that are extremely limited in production. Take a Bugatti Royale...there's only 7 in the world and originally you had to be from royalty to own one. The last one at auction brought over $7M. Like the Daytona Cobra I mentioned...there were 8 made for the '64 racing season, 1 of which caught fire for some reason. So out of the seven left 4 were sold (no one wanted last year's race car) and the remaining 3 were dumped into the ocean. And then there's the worlds most valuable car...the very first Rolls Royce Silver Ghost. It's owned and displayed by Rolls Royce and has an estimated fair market value of $50M. But a Camaro? Those things will be limited production only in the way that they'll be limited to how many they can sell in a given year. Now maybe a '69 ZL1 Camaro...they were limited to 69 and had what was argueably Chevy's most powerful motor ever which is only found in the Camaro ZL1 and the 2 Corvette ZL1s of the same year (one in private collection, the other owned and displayed by GM). But buying an '02 and garaging it is like these morons I see with Dale Earnhardt edition Monte Carlo SS's (the new ones) that think someone will pay $50,000 (I shit you not...I've seen several on sale for that much). There will never be a Camaro that's worth anywhere near a full million, especially with rumors that Chevy may bring it back (I'm sure in name only) within a few years. Besides...it's nothing super special. The option isn't much more than a sticker package.

Nah...just a history lesson. And I really don't hate Camaros...just Camaro drivers (j/k). Hehe. I just don't like the way they haven't changed at all since '93 style-wise with the exception of a slightly different front end in the past couple years. The engines are impressive though...I wish Ford would've stuck with pushrod motors for a while longer. But I can't complain...without the Camaro, Ford would never have kept uping the horsepower ante and made the '03 390hp Cobra. It's really a shame they're out of production for now...people have started comparing Mustangs to Vettes.

Yes...yes I was. But I wasn't aware that'd ever see production. They came out with a second concept that was actually somewhere north of 1000hp. That just seems wickedly wrong on a street car. And like hell you'd ever see me even pop the hood on a W-16 motor with enough piping for 4 turbos. Changing plugs would be a weekend job (read: the WHOLE weekend) and changing the air cleaner is probably something the dealer has to do. $1500 for a new clutch? Where can I order one?! But a very sweet idea and sweet looking car.

An M5 with a little engine work to push her above 500hp at the wheels would be nice. With that I would not need another car....
