Spoon shift knob?

I'm thinking about getting either a Spoon or Skunk 2 shift knob. Are these worth the high price (do i really need a weighted one?) or should i just go with a cheap Type-R knock off? Thankx.

stay with stock, the weight of the shift knob isn't going to improve anything, i would get a short shifter adapter
