well... ive herd "the people"(turned my back on the veggies ) say how animals should be able to run free and not be killed for food... but when they are made to feed me, then i dont see the problem. i also love a good game meat. or even veal.. shit.. its good, i dont wana think what it is/where it came from.

ok i gotta chime in here. i would consider myself a anti meat person but not a vegitarian. i personally have no problem with killing animals raised for slaughter, but i would not eat that meat. why? because i honestly cant stand the tast of it. red meat is absolutely gross to me it tatses horrible. i even have a hard time cooking it for my bf as the smell makes me sick. i wish i could learn to like the tatse but i chose no meat early in life. my mom said even as an infant i wouldn't eat it. the only meat i will eat is chicken and cod. but i wont eat it if ihave to cook it. lol. i know i am wierd but i also know i am nott he only one who doesnt like meat only because of the taste. please dont judge all vegitarians as peta bible beaters.

i work with excel communciations as in independant rep.

my goal then was to make enough money to start my own aftermarket parts buisness( which is going strong now ), but now that my buisness is up and running i still have no plans to quit excel.

that would be stupid to quit...its network marketting and i have a big team, so even if i don't do anything i get checks on a regular basis from them from my team's work i think my personal record pay for 1 hour is $400.

if you guys want to make some serious money you need to learn how to earn residual income and earn income from leverage.

this isn't a plug for me, its a heads up to everyone. forbes magazine has said that to be wealthy you need to generate those two things: leverage and residual income.

once you understand that and start earning that way....things get crazy!

anyways, Ty's Si:
how is your advertising job? what do you do? create campaigns and ads?

i am in school right now and i think that's the direction i want to go...advertising. i have always had a knack for it, and have lots of good ideas, and have always thought that field would be a lot of fun to work in.
any help/advice would be great. i have a good background in psych. too, and advertising just looks like a entertaining job.
granted all clients probably wouldnt necessarily be "fun"...but it looks like an enjoyable feild.

Get this I do "Automotive Hi-Performace" at a engine builder on the west coast of central Fl. I sit around all day giving out our 800 number and talk about turbo and fuel injection systems to people all over the place. I even sell some turbo's and fuel systems along the way. Other than that I build my car during company time and work on a couple of custmer cars fun, fun, fun.

Ahh see that's the tricky part. I work on the PR side of the office trying to generate publicity (like free plugs in mags and such) for our clients. I help support and extend the brands the ad side builds. I don't really have that much of a hand in the daily goings-on of the ad side but I can tell you the creatives have fun at what they do. Advertising isn't always fun but it's not like cutting grass or working fast food either. You're not on your feet all day and you get to meet a lot of people. Cool business trips paid for by someone else aren't all that bad either.

Take an intro to advertising class and see if that's for you. You could be an account executive responsible for managing the direction of campaigns, you could be a copywriter, or you could do the creative art work and play on the PC all day. There are all types of jobs in the field of advertising. You just have to see what part you like best. And the only way to do that is to take a few classes or see if you can get an internship somewhere to see what happens on a daily basis.

ok im 3 days late on the meat discussion and i started..sorry been busy. Do u consider that "stuff" meat? thats all fake crap. i think this all rooted from an animal cruelty project that i did my freshman year in highschool it was so horrible all the stuff i learned. no i dont hunt or fish. im sorry im just not a big fan of killing animals for us to eat or fun either. i know that they were put on this earth to eat, i understand that part. the thing i dont like is HOW theyre raised to be slaughtered. i think thats very cruel, especially veal. i think they should give em free room to roam and be in natured instead of caged and stuffed with antibiotics and steroids to fatten em up. thats just so unnatural and disgusting to me. im not a fan of the zoo either. im an animal lover and im not going to preach or right a report on what i find out about animal cruelty. i just dont like it. but to each his/her own right? to all the carnivores out there: its ur choice dude.

Its all great to say that animals should run free and be treated better and I agree alot of the things that go on behind the scenes are wrong. But the sad reality of it is that its a business and letting your live stock roam free doesn't always equal good business. I love meat and have it in 2 of my 3 meals aday, I eat red meat, chicken and fish I love them all and wouldn't stop eating them on account of their being raised poorly. If you really are concerned for their well being try buying those brands that are "naturally raise" <- whatever that means.
