Internals
Ok I don't know a whole lot on engines and what not, but I was wondering what are some key engine internals that will increase performance over all

well you block internals would be the rods and pistons..not to mention crank. you can have the whole thing blue printed and balanced and be set...then get titanium valve springs and retainers etc for the head and that will help out...
hope this little bit of info helps.. |

I would like to go FI eventually once I get the cash and I would also prefer not to have to worry about blowing a few pistons once i get the car boosted
what type of gains would I expect with new pistons and cranks and such? |

ummm, that is a very broad queaston. if you use stock spec stuff you won't see a lot. For rods go to crower, for pistons arias, rings: total seal gapless rings, main and rod bearings Federal Mogul, Crower cam regrind, cosmetic head gasket, crower valve train, aem cam gear (oops not an internal)

I'm guessing you can provide most of these items? heh
thanks for the ideas guys, I need to replace my f*cking radiator before I do anything else to the engine, leaking like there's no tomorow. |
