prelude head on an accord engine?

I was wondering if any of you guys had tried to swap a prelude head onto your engine (2.3L sohc 16 valve), just wondering cause my friend can be a big bs'er some times and was wondering if that had any valididty, thanks for your help

i never heard of it being done before, and it's impossible because of the stud pattern. the accords have 12 studs that hold the heaed to the block, and the ludes have 16. that's just one of the differences

Yup. The Prelude motors are H series while the Accord motors are F series. They don't match up.

you cant match up heads or blocks but the trannies will swap and so will the whole motor
