Aem V2?

Hey everyone. Im new here and am looking to get a 1996 Accord, its in pretty good shape, stock with no major problems. Am going to get an AEM intake with alittle extra borowed cash.

I wanted to know if anyone has tried the AEM V2. Is there any more reason to get that than just a normal intake?

From what I've read, there really is no advantage to going to the V2. The price is crazy compared to the V1 and the gains (if any) just don't make up for it.

dang, $300... thats a crap load. basically compared to v1, it just has a dual inner piping. bleah...

i welded my own piping and saved bundles.

hondaman, how much cheaper? i am thinking of putting that in a crx... the v2 i mean.

Amazingly enough a friend at the performance shop allowed me to test out both AEM products V1 & V2. I ended up going with the V2.

I had a friend there with a video camera. I will see if I can get him to make some mpegs of the differences so I can post them.

Thanks again for your help everyone.
