intake and exhaust
Hey I put a new sound system in my 2001 civic and now I want to improve performance. I hear I should start with an intake and exhaust system.
What will getting either of these do for me as far as performance? And does getting either of the two effect me as far as passing my smog test later on? |

AEM Cold Air Intake
CARB certified and you'll pass emissions As far as exhaust goes, find a company that makes it for the 2k1 Civics. Greddy & DC Sports don't as of yet. You might try Tanabe.

civic addict has the right answers for you..
I agree the AEM CAI would work for te intake. Good sound and performance from it along w/ being ok to pass inspection. As for exhaust it treally depends on sound and how much you have to spend. I would also recommend DC Sports,Brullen,Greddy and HKS.. there are also othere to get but show around and find a good price for the mods you want... Hoep this helps a little.. |
