Why the hostility?

Obviously I read your post.

It's entirely possible for a company that has its products built by another, benifits from a higher level of quatliy than the identical product sold under a different social reason (NAME), manufactured by the mother co.

It's even possible for, within the same co, different levels of quality controle be established. This is the case in 95% of the companies in Asia which manufacture for export.
For example, Sony Corp.'s product which is destined to the North American market will be of a superior quality than the same product destined for the South American market (or equivalent markets).

I'll give you an example that is closer to our situation. LG and Goldstar. LG is the subsidiary of Goldstar. Now guess who has a higher level of quality controle. You guessed right! Goldstar's standardization plateau is not even in the same league as LG's.
Funny isnt it? 2 identical products sold under different brand names aren't even of the same quality.
