My buddy told me about that a LONG time ago. (well not that long but before you could get a hummer as a civilian)...
I was going to try to get an army surplus one before they released them to the public...
You could get them if you had or were serving... they were DIRT cheap too... you could get one for around 13k as I remember.
Top speed of 50 but you could do 50 through a forest without turning as long as the trees were only 12-18"... just steamrolls through.

Army Hummers do like 70. They are turbo charged. Ours just suck though. They can do 65 if you have a 7 mile straight away.
They definatly can NOT do 50 through a forest no matter what. They have no balls at all. I hate these things.
