Now, a TURBO eclipse w/ few mods and a Type R would be a much better race. I think the Type R is rated at 14.8 in the quarter and the GST at 15.0. In my experiences... I've beaten a stock GST when I only had i/h/e. So... to answer your question... No... I don't think a 2GNT could beat/hang with a stock Type R.
