You can debate all you want. Hands down a turbo will have more power potential. The only thing you can really do with a S/C is change the size of the pulley for a small amount in boost increase. With a turbo you can swap the turbo out, have the turbo reworked, adjust boost etc..

It does however depend on what you are looking for, with my TD04 there is virtually no turbo lag, boost starts around 1700rpm and continues to redline. With a supercharger you are going to have instant boost, just not as much boost.
