1st Kill Story

Since this Forum was my idea I'll start out with a few recent races I've had. It was last Friday and my friend and I were heading out to a club. I was driving in my Prelude with 1 passenger and he in his VW GTi VR6. My mods are listed below. He has a GIAC chip and P-flow intake. Anyways we raced a couple times just for fun with about the same results, me getting about a half length lead on the start and pulling away slowly in 3rd. gear. I was behind him and were merging onto a main rd. when I look up to see a new WRX pass us. He must have seen this also because he immediately took off after the WRX. I pulled out quick but figured I could catch them at the red light ahead. I looked in my rear view mirror and see bluish headlights coming up quickly. I kind of waited for the car to catch up and it was an 88-90 civic hatch. The car was lowered on what looked to be civic Si wheels. He paced me for a few seconds and then took off real quick. I heard a vtec crossover so I knew he had an engine swap. So knowing that this wasn't going to be an easy win I eased the car into 4th gear and waited for him to slow back down. He slowed and paced and then heard him shift so I downshifted into 3rd at about the same time. I immediately jumped a car length on him and pulled out a little more toward the end of 3rd. Shifted into 4th at 8k and started to pull away with ease. Up ahead the GTi and WRX were going at it. The passenger in the GTi said the WRX pulled away a little but only a car lenght or two. I caught up and pulled in front of my friend and paced the WRX. He caught me off guard and immediately downshifted and took off. I followed and slowly pulled to his back bumper but we had to slow down for traffic. We couldn't get a light together but I'm pretty sure he would have killed me off the line. Overall a very fun night.

Please feel free to post any of your kill stories along with this one or as a seperate thread. I don't care what car you drive, let's make this one of the more active forums.
