very true accord man.
dont really think about each sub gets one channel.
i have a mono sub amp on two subs and it pounds my daylights out. of course i have very efficient subs so i can get away with it. 93 instead of most kickers are about 88-89. which doesnt mean mine are better they just use power better.
400W rms is alot of power. you don't hafta look quite that high to get good sound out of either xpl's or compvrs. but you should get at least 250W. the rms rating on each of those speakers is xpl-500W compvr- about 400 (i think, dont remember)
so you really don't need to push the limits.
as long as you get at least half the rms number you will get good sound. power is expensive.
if any professionals are reading this forget what i said. what i said is for people who don't have a lot of cash. like me!
