but I see what you're saying....just let me give you an example of my life....when I was 16-17-18, I drank..alot...and smoked (alot)...and was a thief (long story) and my life was going to shit...literally. I got arrested, got kicked out of my parents house...had to fend for myself...then one day something (maybe a little birdie, maybe GOD, maybe my conscience...don't know) just clicked and I was like "wtf am I doing?" From that day on, I straightened up and started living my life and putting a path in front of myself. I worked for a big company where I started at the bottom and worked my way to the top...I was 21 making $32k/year....I resigned 4 yrs later and joined the military and it wasn't to get stucture, it was because I didn't go to college and didn't have the money/time to go on my own. So, I joined so the military would pay for my education.....that and having prior military experience on your resume is a big plus later on.........
