Honestly, the best thing that you can do is to get a professional to do it for you. If you have never done this sort of thing before, and you have never watched anyone do it, then you don't want to risk screwing things up just cause you wanted to save a few bucks. My motto is, "if you wanna do something, then do it right." I would get a pro to do it. Cutting the springs that you already have to lower the car can work if you do it right, but you might cut too much and be screwed, and I've seen that happen before. If you just want a permanent drop, then get a set of lowering springs, but if you want to adjust your height for like a show look, then get a set of coilovers. Ebay would be your best bet for that prolly if you don't wanna spend mucho mulla.
