You dont have to get 10's instead of 12's...it juss depends if you like bass or not...as for me im going to put 3 12 inch subs in my trunk...
...i love bass...anyways...if you get a 12 inch sub it doesn't mean its going to hit hard, if you dont have a amp that gives out good power to the sub then its not gonna hit hard...depends on wat u get and how u bridge it and stuff like that...juss my 2cents...
